Chris and I were fortunate enough (sorry Jeremy & Shirish) to attend the last of 5 Arcade Fire shows at the Judson Memorial Church this past Saturday.
The venue was one of a kind and extremely comfortable. It was a sold out show but still felt like half of the attendees didn't show up. After 4 songs or so, the audio folk got the band's levels correct and as a result, it started to sound really great. It was a perfect start to a memorable night. After their album releases in March, I hope they come back to NYC for a couple of shows. I highly recommend checking them out.
p.s - pic was taken from my phone - not bad, eh?
UPDATE - NPR was there, recording the show. Here is the link to their site where you can listen to the whole concert, streaming style or you can download the whole thing
